Killer vintage made in england 14-eye 1940 steel toe dr martens with the rare yellow "double-stitch" in the soles, the nice thing about double stitch is when you see it you know you are looking at true vintage docs since there are no modern docs with double stitch. Also the soles you can see do not have "the original" or "made in england" on the bottom of them, thats because they pre-date that practice which started in the early 80s. So these are very old 1940s, and as such very rare. EXCELLENT condition, broken in but overall excellent condition.

Bullet proof old school leather, and old school rubber compound used on the soles, damn near impossible to wear the rubber down, as well these steel toes are safety rated, not "fashion" steel caps like modern docs, these steel toes will never fail, period. SIZE: these are a UK 8 however they fit like a mens US 8.5 in my opinion. The external length of the sole is just a hair over 12 inches, its 12 1/16th, the internal length of the sole is 10 3/8th inches.

So take that into consideration. Lastly there is NO comparison of old school 20th century docs to modern docs, that Includes modern made in england line, those are actually lower quality than the asian made line. Those last months, these last decades, literally!
